INTRODUCTION

How I became a Twilighter :

I hate trends. At one point, the mere mention of the Twilight series made me cringe, even as I resisted the pull that it seemed to have on me. I'm in my twenties, for crying out loud! Isn't the Twilight series for teenage girls? But curiosity got the better of me and I gave in to temptation. From book one I was completely ensnared, end of story.

Well, not quite...

How this site came to be :

Before I even finished reading the series I began scouring the internet looking for more information. Four books were just not enough to satisfy me. I came away from my search feeling somewhat unsatisfied despite the number of websites out there. Many just didn't seem to have what I was looking for and quite a few were dead and abandoned. The more unsatisfied I became, the more I began to like the idea of starting my own Twilight fan site. And so, here I am

My hope for this site :

I would like this site to become a place where people can come to get their Cullen fix as well as general Twilight-centric conversation and fun. You don't have to be over twenty like me to be here -- just a Twilight fan.

Looking for the shoutbox? I was having problems with it so I deleted it. The forum is now up and running though, so come in and say hello there.

Summit has yet to officially announce the production of the final installment of Twilight, Breaking Dawn, they have reportedly expressed interest in New Moon director Chris Weitz to return to the franchise.

Summit enjoyed the work from Weitz who experienced great box office success with New Moon and wants to secure the director for the last film(s).

Most likely Weitz won’t be back. He is headed to Summit’s other project The Gardener.
Summit wanting Weitz for Breaking Dawn is pure speculation especially since David Slade’s take on the franchise with Eclipse has yet to be released. Weitz, in an interview with Time magazine, said that he does pay attention to rumors on the Internet…something I know to be true first hand.

"Twilight" producer talks "Breaking Dawn" : Video Here

It’s pretty much a foregone conclusion that The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn will be made. How could it not? Twilight madness has taken over our youth (and single moms) and with madness comes cold hard cash. Though, oddly, even after the record-setting release of New Moon, Summit Entertainment still hasn’t officially announced that the fourth entry in the Stephenie Meyer vampire series will be made. But friends, make no mistake. It’s going to happen.

In a recent interview, Twilight producer Wyck Godfrey has promised that Breaking Dawn will be headed to a theater near you.

“There’s every intention to make Breaking Dawn,” he said. On numerous occasions, series star Robert Pattinson has also confirmed that Breaking Dawn is “pretty much inevitable.”

“I think it’s going to be probably end of next year before filming,” he said talking about production kicking off before the end of 2010.

Then there is the rumor of splitting the movie into two. Meyer revealed on her website some time ago, “If Breaking Dawn were ever made into a movie, it’s hard to imagine it fitting into ninety minutes.” Meyer went on to add, “The book is just so long! I can’t imagine how to distill it – if I could, the book would be shorter. But maybe a screenwriter can see a way to do it and still cover the crucial plot points.”

Although this article is biased against the series I still thought it had some merit. 

The Twilight Saga: New Moon is dominating theaters and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse is in post-production for next summer, which means its time for Summit Entertainment to sit down and have serious discussions about the fourth and final novel in the Stephenie Meyer series, Breaking Dawn.

Sorry I didn't update yesterday. Webs was having issues again and I couldn't access the editor. 

Some of you may have noticed that the ending of 2kool4skool's story, "A Night Out" was missing. I've fixed it by posting chapter three separately from the rest of the story and it can be found in the Fanfiction and Articles section.

 Vampire Edward Cullen Thought His ‘Twilight’ Character Was “ridiculous”

The actor – who plays vampire Edward Cullen in the movie series which are based on the novels by Stephenie Meyer – admits he found it hard to take Edward seriously when he was researching the role.

He said: “I read the first book and found it quite good. But the description of my character is, from the first page on, completely ridiculous. It says, ‘He enters a room, and his beauty is almost painful.’ ”

Pattinson – who can currently be seen in new movie ‘The Twilight Saga: New Moon’ alongside co-stars Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart – was also left unimpressed when he watched himself in the two films.

He added to Germany’s In Touch magazine: “I’ve watched the movies twice but they didn’t wow me.”

Although Pattinson will definitely star in the third instalment in the franchise, ‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’, he is planning on becoming a pop star once he fulfils his commitments to the series.

He revealed: “I’ll record a few tracks as soon as I finish the promotion for the movies, but before I won’t to do anything. I don’t want to release an album which has a sticker on it saying, ‘By the vampire of ‘Twilight’,’ on it."

Well, it certainly looks like fans of Summit Entertainment's "Twilight" are ready to move on to the next installment in the franchise which is "Eclipse". Fans are busy creating and posting fake "Eclipse" movie trailers across the world wide web, particularly on video galleries like YouTube. Of course, the third film doesn't hit theaters until next summer on June 30 which means we won't likely see a trailer until at least March or April. You can check out some of the fake trailers by simply typing 'Twilight: Eclipse Trailer' in search engines such as Google. Beware, most of them are pretty bad and the fact that they were probably made by fourteen year old girls obsessed with Robert Pattinson certainly shows.

Added a new story to the Fanfiction and Articles section. "A Night Out" by 2kool4skool follows Jasper and Alice, Emmett and Rosalie, and Edward and Bella on a night on the town. Told from the perspectives of the three guys. Please read and leave a comment -- I know she's been working on this for a while.

New Moon hottie Ashley Greene works hard to stay in shape, but insists she doesn't take dieting to an extreme.

"I can't live life not enjoying food," Ashley, 22, told People Nov. 21 in New York.
Greene and several co-stars, including Robert Pattinson, 23, and Kristen Stewart, 19, are in Manhattan this week promoting New Moon.

So what is Ashley's weakness when it comes to dieting? "Cheez-Its are my vice, so I never buy them myself," says Greene.

She adds: "Usually someone else is buying them for me and they're like, 'I know you love them.' I will eat a whole box. I have no self control. So my solution is to get baggies and zip locks and Tupperware and give myself only one portion to take with me during the day."

The Florida-born Ashley plays pixie-ish vampire Alice Cullen in the Twilight saga. Because New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn all are far more action-oriented than the original film, Greene took up fight training for her action scenes.

"[The cast] had a personal trainer and then we also had fight training," Greene recounts. "It was a good four hours a day of training."

To maintain her sexy bikini body, the gorgeous Ashley does Pilates six days a week. "I do it early in the morning," she says. "It wakes you up, and it's kind of refreshing, and that is basically it. Sometimes [I do] cardio. I am not a big weight person because when I do weights I build muscle mass."
